A pilot project for the “governance” of Herat Province in Afghanistan has been promoted by the University of Genova, in collaboration with SudgestAid and will be financed by the Italian Development Cooperation.

The project’s aim is the organization of the Governorate Offices and the section and training of its staff. The project, which is scheduled on a year and foresees some training session in Italy, has been conceived starting from the firm belief that the reorganization of the Afghan State and of its territorial structure is fundamental for the stabilization process of the Country.
